| A purely genius show! |
Ok, i just finished the first two seasons of Sherlock and it was amazing. Super amazing! His sarcasm in the 1st episode in Season 1 makes it more entertaining and a bit jealous to his intelligence. How i wish i would have a brain like his, how his mind thinks so fast and talks so fast. Its a good thing that i have already graduated from college and have a job when i watch this show. Because clearly, if i had watch this during my High School Days i would have this in my option in what i will take in college.
Some of you will ask me why now? why did i watch this just now and not when all the people are still crazy about the series and the love story of Sherlock and john. First is because i dont watch crime scene series anymore, to me its a little boring. OK, i have watch some of the CSI series and i think that show is the reason that i got bored with crime solving puzzles scenes. Where a crimes was committed, CSI teams are investigating to solve the puzzles, putting it together and there it is the crime is solved and we have a suspect. Don't get me wrong, i had loved CSI before because of how they solve the crime, the way they think. but its a cycle every episode crime-investigate-solve-capture victim and there is a little story background to the characters. So i think that is the end of crime solving scene series for me...
oh wait?! i have watch another related show to this, but is a different type. Detective Conan, an anime which is also about crime solving scene. But the next episodes took longer to be shown to the TV. I think that is the problem in anime shows that is based on a manga, an episode will not be shown unless it was released in the manga. So, repeating the episodes to the nth time is sometimes boring so i just quit watching it and just wait till the anime finishes.
But Sherlock is a lot more different, make your head think and with a mix entertainment. Also the love between John and Sherlock is sweet, you can see in season 1 that Sherlock is a cold and mean person and do not have that friends. But in the last episode of season 1. The look in his face when john was in danger is priceless! you can see panic and worry in his face or its just that Benedict Cumberbatch is good actor(sorry for being biased). Before he doesn't care if there are people who are getting hurt, at least he is enjoying the puzzles that Moriarty is giving to him. Its like a health pill to him when he solve a difficult puzzle. But its a different kind of story when his only friend, Dr John Watson is the one in danger.

Another Reason is that Sherlock cast has beaten The Normal Heart in the category of mini series/ movies on Emmy Awards. It made me curious how a show who has a great story and talented actors lose an Emmy. So i started watching it, and boy was i wrong. Really wrong with all my assumptions to this show, and now i know why people are mad at this show and i will be glad to join them. And i think having Benedict Cumberbatch is just a plus, well a major plus. He is the perfect actor for playing Sherlock like Robert Downey Jr for Iron man (i know he has a movie Sherlock Holmes but for me he is at his best when he plays Tony Stark, and i still have not watch the movie). And i want to prove myself wrong here regarding to RDJ.
What is best in this show is that Sherlock is not the only genius here, there is Moriarty and also dominatrix (even though there's a bit of input by Moriarty, she still has 70% participation in planning)

I love all the episode of sherlock, short seasons yes, but its overflowing with story. So you will not be dissapointed, but their cliffhangers are insane! You will want to rip you head because you cant wait for the next season to start.
So to those who have not watch it then, try it! one episode will not hurt, its like you're watching a movie.
